Forensic Psychological Evaluations and Testing
Interviewing and testing to determine psychological status of individuals, providing diagnostic and other information pertinent to litigation. Forensic issues in Dr. Morgan’s practice include emotional damage examinations in personal injury cases, risk assessment, malingering and deception, competency, mental health status, cognitive and intellectual status, and treatment adequacy.
Child Custody Evaluations
Psychological evaluations of families involved in disputes over custody and visitation, to help the family and court understand individual and family dynamics and develop an appropriate plan for custody and visitation of minor children.
Case Consultation
- Assistance in preparing for depositions, trials, or settlement negotiations when psychological issues are involved.
- Assistance in preparing cross-examination of psychologists and other mental health professionals.
- Review psychological evaluations of other professionals and examine completeness, appropriateness, and justification of diagnostic conclusions.
- Assistance in identifying experts/specialists in various fields of psychology when needed.
Psychological File Review
- Review all file information, including reports from psychologists, to examine completeness, appropriateness, and coherence of information provided by other professionals.
- Provide information about the adequacy of psychological evaluations and relating to the confirmation of diagnostic conclusions.
- Independent analysis of test data from other professionals.
